A UA Waste Management employee notified UA police of non-UA waste being dumped in UA dumpsters at 527 N. National Championship Dr., Tuesday, reports stated.
The employee told police that for the last month, unknown subjects have been dumping approximately three large dog food bags of animal fecal matter in the dumpsters every other day, reports stated.
The last deposit was made on Feb. 22.
The employee wanted to file a report due to the monetary loss to the university for the waste's disposal, reports stated.
Police have no suspects or witnesses.
A UA student was cited as a criminal nuisance after he was caught dropping water balloons from his room at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., Feb. 24, reports stated.
A UA police officer responded to the scene after one of the balloons landed on a Jeep Grand Cherokee belonging to a female student. The balloon dented the hood of the Jeep, causing the paint to crack, reports stated.
The female student told police that someone from the sixth or eighth floor threw the balloon directly onto the hood of her car. Police found pieces of purple latex on the hood and on the ground surrounding the car, reports stated.
UA police went to a room directly above the car that had an open window. When the officer got to the room, he saw several males in the hallway. The males told police that they had seen two other males carrying purple balloons to the eighth floor and throwing them out the window, reports stated.
The officer went to the eighth floor and questioned a resident who had his window open directly above the car. He said that his roommate was the one who was throwing the balloons out of the window. The officer told the resident that his roommate needed to contact police as soon as he could, reports stated.
The suspect later arrived at the Jeep and admitted he had hit the Jeep. He told police that he just wanted to get someone wet.
The victim said that she would not prosecute, but did want the male to pay for repairs to her vehicle. The officer filed a code of conduct violation with the Dean of Students office, reports stated.
A UA student was cited for disturbing the peace, disrupting an educational institution, theft and a minor consuming liquor, at the Skyview Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St., Thursday, reports stated.
UA police responded to a report of a loud party at the apartments at about 2 a.m. but, on arrival, were unable to locate the party. A resident of the room where the party was held said that people were being loud but that the party was over, reports stated.
Police went to the residence of the two female students who reported the party and told them the party was over but to call back if it started up again.
At 2:57 a.m., the females called back saying there was more noise. The females said they heard yelling and barking sounds coming from the resident's window. The police officer went to the room and found that everything was quiet, reports stated.
The officer was walking down the stairs when he saw a male resident in the parking lot with two other males. By the time the officer got down the stairs, the group of males had moved next to a red Jeep Wrangler. When the males saw the officer, they began to walk away, and the officer had to yell at them to stop, reports stated.
Two of the males fled down a wash on the south side of the apartments, but the male who had spoken to the officer before was stopped from fleeing the scene. The student had a steering wheel cover in his hands, reports stated.
When the officer detained him for the theft, the student urinated in his pants.
The female students who had reported the noise said that these residents were an ongoing problem at the apartments, reports stated.
The male student's eyes were bloodshot, watery and red, and his speech was slurred. He also had a strong odor of intoxicants. He was transported to the Pima County Jail, where he was treated for a small cut he had on his pinky toe. The student had no idea where he had gotten the injury, reports stated.
A UA female student reported harassing e-mails to UA police at the station, 1852 E. First St., Wednesday, reports stated.
The student told police that she had received the e-mails from a fellow law student who was interested in a romantic relationship with her. She told the student that she was not interested and to stop contacting her, reports stated.
She did not file charges but wished to document the incident.
