Junior not into patting butts of statues, hopes to become involved in ASUA
WILDCAT: What's the deal with getting all dressed up? Not all of us dress like that every day you know.
ORTMANN: I had an interview with ASUA today.
WILDCAT: For ASUA? For what?
ORTMANN: Different positions in the president's cabinet and the vice president's cabinet.
WILDCAT: Sweet! What inspired you to want to be a part of ASUA?
ORTMANN: Just to become involved with the whole process.
WILDCAT: All right then, do you watch the show "The West Wing" a lot or something?
ORTMANN: I definitely record it every week.
WILDCAT: OK, when did you learn that the president's cabinet wasn't exactly a real cabinet, like, he opens up a door and he's all, "hello friends," like some big armoire or something?
ORTMANN: Uhh·
WILDCAT: Or am I the only moron who ·
ORTMANN: I think so.
WILDCAT: Oh well. So is this going to help your career out at all?
ORTMANN: I'm not just doing this for my resume, I'm doing this because I want to make a difference.
WILDCAT: What do you want to make a difference in?
ORTMANN: Generally, relations between the students and ASUA.
WILDCAT: What do you mean? They're fine!
ORTMANN: Not entirely. Not with so many students complaining about ASUA. I think that it needs to be better.
WILDCAT: Well, they're like your cousins from out of town. You're all fine for a few hours and then you start fighting again. ORTMANN: Families aren't supposed to be dysfunctional like that.
WILDCAT: Well, what about things on campus? Isn't there anything that just freaks you out? There's a statue of a naked girl by the library. Guys walking by pat her butt.
ORTMANN: Uh, I think that's art.
