Wildcat hoops lucky to have Lute
It's weeks like these that Wildcat fans should feel lucky they have good old Lute as head basketball coach.
Not only does he turn out one of the best teams in the country year after year, but he would never be caught dead at a fraternity party pounding a few Natural Lights.

Zoo next step to packed houses

The NCAA released its 64-school tournament brackets yesterday for both men and women's tennis, ranking UA's women as high as No. 16 out of the entire 64-team pool. The men made the field of 64 as well, although unranked. The Wildcats will be playing out of the No. 4 bracket with the fourth-ranked California squad hosting.

The University of Arizona men's golf team carded a two-over 362 yesterday to finish second at the Pacific-10 Conference Championships.
The runner-up performance was Arizona's best at the conference championships since 1994 by posting a four-round total of 1,466 (+26).
