Arizona vs. Wisconsin

John "as-seen-on-TV" Mackovic had better grab his suit, as the nation finally takes notice of the second-best passing attack in all the land, albeit at 9:00 a.m. J.J. gets 400 yards per, but "yards after catch" are what make Wade and ĪDrae so unstoppable. Oh yeah, and Clarence Farmer is way overdue. "Three-and-Oh, sure" has a nice ring to it.

UCLA vs. Colorado

Go find a copy of yesterday's Wildcat and read Jeff Lund's column about giving the PAC-10 some love. Colorado was overrated from the start, as shown by their New Year's Day trouncing, a-la Oregon, after that so-called Bull Championship Series snub. Last week, 62 total yards against USC. Saturday, the Buffs come to Pasadena for yet another ass-kicking.

Notre Dame vs. Michigan State

Is it just me, or does Ty Willingham have that, "If -I-try-not-to-smile-any-harder, will-that-blood vessel-on-my-forehead actually-pop" look on his face? Still, something special seems to be brewing in the college football capitol of the universe. The Domers take their "holiday" to East Lansing, with Shane "Brother-of-Luke" Walton anchoring ND's "D."

Florida vs. Tennessee

Run-and-gun, throw 'til-the-arm-falls-off football in the "dirty south" on national television. With Neyland Stadium filled with 104,079 rabid orange fans, this is the best that college football offers. As far as the game, Casey Clausen puts up 350 to help his Heisman campaign, but Rex and company squeeze out the first big win of the Ron Zook era.

Arizona vs. Wisconsin

Starting at 9 a.m. on ESPN2 with Pam Ward doing play-by-play already makes this game painful to watch. The Wildcats didn't blow out Northern Arizona enough. Plus, Saturday's game-time temperature of 58 degrees won't help either.

Wisconsin 33 Arizona 21

UCLA vs. Colorado

UCLA is going to win and everyone else picked the same, so who cares?

UCLA 38 Colorado 17

Notre Dame vs. Michigan State

"It was a terrible performance and we never showed up," Michigan State head coach Bobby Williams said after the loss to California last Saturday. They'll be ready on Saturday to take on a weak Irish team. I'm tired of hearing about the ND's new, overrated coach and celebrating every win. This is a rivalry game and MSU is looking for blood.

Michigan State 27 Notre Dame 23

Florida vs. Tennessee

UF is still looking for direction and identity in their new head coach. The Vols will roll and the students will storm the field as usual. I don't think I can handle the fantastic new season of the CBS fall lineup plug-ins that entail "JAG," "King of Queens" and "Touched by an Angel" during the game.

Arizona vs. Wisconsin

I remember the last time UA played a ranked Big-10 team · OK it's kind of fuzzy. Well now Arizona has a QB who actually throws and to guys in the same jerseys. As a team without "hometown refs" or a 1-AA opponent Arizona needs to get tested, not for those. UA must pass, literally, J. John throws for 400 and 3 td's.

Arizona 34 Wisconsin 27

UCLA vs. Colorado

At least this year we won't have to listen to CU's complaining about a Bowl Championship bid. If spoiled children in mustard stripes can beat them 40-3 at home, the Buffaloes are extinct and a storm's bruin' in LA (somebody had to use it). UCLA hasn't lost outside the Pac-10 in a while and they're not going to start soon.

UCLA 38 Colorado 7

Notre Dame vs. Michigan State

The Fighting Irish, lead by Ty Willingham and their high-scoring defense roll into East Lansing to play a team that lost to Cal by 24, Bezerkly people! The worst 3-0 team ever. Have we forgotten 1-10 last year? Notre Dame wins, but still no facial expressions from Willingham, unless his offense scores 35 · never mind.

Notre Dame 24 MSU 3

Florida vs. Tennessee

I was raised to hate Steve Spurrier and now he's gone, but I still hate Florida. I'll also never respect a school that celebrated when Peyton Manning came back and has checkers in their end zone. If I had it my way neither would win, in fact they suck and play to a tie. Hunker down Dawgs!

Arizona vs. Wisconsin

The time is now for Arizona to pull itself out of the three-year funk it has sunken into since 1998. With a win here, quarterback Jason Johnson's confidence will be soaring, and the Wildcats will start getting votes for that all-important (not really) top-25 ranking. What matters is Arizona will be 3-0, just a handful of wins away from a bowl game.

Arizona 28 Wisconsin 23

UCLA vs. Colorado

I must apologize to all of my fellow Buffalo fans. I obviously cursed the team and the field by running around on it with my friend. From now on I will go against the Buffs and hopefully they will start winning. If not, well, at least Nebraska isn't going to win the National Championship.

UCLA 28 Colorado 3

Notre Dame vs. Michigan State

Michigan State is coming of an embarrassing loss to Cal. But guess what? They will get embarrassed at home again against the rejuvenated Irish. The Spartans have problems getting up for every game, and though this is a big game that could save their season, MSU will start a home losing streak.

Notre Dame 35 Michigan State 17

Florida vs. Tennessee

You know what's pretty cool about this game being played in Neyland Stadium? It holds 104,079 people. The equivalent of roughly one-ninth of the population of Alaska will be there to watch Florida lose to a school that got its colors from the orange Creamsicle.

Tennessee 42 Florida 30
