Mackovic upset with his team's effort Saturday against Wisconsin
The Wildcats went into Madison Saturday looking for an upset over a Top 25 school, but what they got was an upset coach.
"I'm angry at the way that we played," head coach John Mackovic said. "I'm upset that we didn't do a better job getting our team ready to play. That was not the kind of effort we expect.
"(The players) aren't really angry with the game. We are just angry at ourselves."
Arizona committed many mistakes in its 31-10 loss to Wisconsin and Mackovic highlighted them all yesterday in his weekly press conference.

Injury to Jolivette shakes up defense

At the time, the injury was thought to be a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament, which would have forced the junior to miss the rest of the season.

UA football needs you in the seats
When North Texas comes to town Saturday, one thing will be for certain ÷ an already low attendance at Arizona Stadium will drop even more.
Not only will the top deck be scattered with the occasional red shirt, but even down below in the student section and public seating, energy will be lacking.
Plus, if you don't go to the game you won't be able to watch it at all. The game is not televised anywhere.

Soccer suffers second loss of season Sunday to Toreros
When you play quality teams, losses might happen, especially with a young team.
The Arizona soccer team was living this example when they lost to San Diego on Sunday afternoon 3-0. The Toreros improved to 6-1-1 on the season and the Wildcats fell to 3-2-1, losing two in a row for the first time this season.
"San Diego is a good team, as good as Oklahoma was," said head coach Cathy Klein, referring to the Wildcats' 2-0 loss to the Sooners two weeks ago.
