No. 7 Oregon at Arizona
Everything points to an Oregon victory. Everything. We're injured, playing poorly, and they are good, healthy and have great fan support. Don't be surprised if there are more Oregon fans here than Arizona fans. It seems as though everyone is waiting for basketball season. Too bad they won't be around to watch us tear down the goalposts.

I want Washington State to play every game like they did against us last season (28 points in the first seven minutes of the game). They used trick plays and showed what kind of balls they had. That's fun football, the kind of football that will keep them in the running for the Pac-10 title.

Penn State beat Arizona 41-7 in 1999. Wisconsin beat Arizona by 21. Twenty-one is my age, and is greater than ten öö our score against the Badgers. Wisconsin is ranked 15th, which is more than twice the amount we scored against Penn State in 1999. Therefore, Wisconsin will win this game by 2 öö the number of days until Saturday.

See, a good coach can make the difference. Stanford has shown just how much they suck now without Ty Willingham. Notre Dame is no surprise anymore. They were a good team with no coach. Now they are a good team with a good coach. End of story. The Irish win, and the Cardinal add another loss to its fast growing loss column.

No. 7 Oregon at Arizona
As the Bear Down Bandit, my heart wants to say that we'll win this one. But let's be realistic here, folks. C-Farm and Jolivette are gone, and who does that leave UA with? Arizona honestly can't expect David Hinton to step up his game after he got dominated last weak by an awful Mean Green passing attack. Since Thurman can't catch, Johnson to Wade just won't cut it on Saturday.

No. 20 USC at No. 17 Washington St.
After getting pummeled by Cal's D-line, Jason Gesser just laughed, shook off his dislocated rib, and lead his team to victory. The kid is gritty and knows how to win. USC's veteran offense has been a measly 20 for 63 on third-down conversions this year. Look for Gesser to have a field day during a second half onslaught against USC's overrated defense.

Can anyone stop Michael Robinson, PSU option/backup QB? Nope. Not even Wisconsin, who pummeled a mediocre, at best, UA team two weeks ago. Joe Pa's Nittany D will shut down Wisconsin's barage of solid running backs and young receivers. After Jo Pa's 40-yard dash and assault on the refs after last week's game, he's fired up and won't let the refs lose this one for him.

Call me crazy, but I'm still not impressed with Notre Dame's quick start this year. QB Carlyle Holiday is the only reason they've been winning, but reports claim that Holiday will likely not play on Saturday because of an injury to his non-throwing shoulder. That doesn't sound like a fighting Irishman to me. If your throwing arm ain't hurt, then you play.

No. 7? Ha, I say! What do "rankings" mean anyway? I mean look at the UA: We're even not ranked! We still · what's that? Oregon has a 26-point margin per victory? But we're in the Pac-10! Aren't we? OK · umm · Wildcats eat Ducks! Yes, even if they are de-clawed and neutered. We have way more heart and football tradition here anyway. All right, fine, I give up.

Both these teams have turned some heads early and have only lost one each, but USC's loss to KSU is a little more impressive than Ohio St.'s drumming of Wazoo. Last week, the Beavers couldn't score on the Trojans ÷ and that defense wasn't even fully excited. Watch: The USC defense finally breaks Gesser's rib and the Cougars' chances.
USC 27 Washington State 21
No. 21 Penn State at No. 15 Wisconsin
Wisconsin's good, but not No. 15 good. Penn State's more of a No. 15 team than the Badgers, although some team (Arizona) made them look damn good. Regardless, Wisconsin hasn't played anyone of consequence; they simply had more points when time ran out against Fresno St. and Northern Illinois, two real juggernauts. And the Nittany Lions were only a ref call away from beating Iowa.

Stanford at No. 9 Notre Dame
Shhh, I know a secret. Last year, Stanford "plays" Georgia Tech in the Seattle Bowl. Ty Willingham gets George O'Leary blind drunk and makes him think he got a master's degree. Why? Willingham knows O'Leary is going to Notre Dame öö O'Leary gets hired, fired, and guess who takes his job? My point: O'Leary doesn't remember and Willingham never admits.

The last two home games against the Ducks have been completely different. Wildcat kicker Mark McDonald missed a game-tying field goal at the gun and then flipped the bird to the crowd three years ago. Last year's 63-28 loss to UO was the worst in school history. Hopefully this year's loss will be just as interesting as the others.

It's been a tough year for the Trojans, but they've played well all season. Down by three touchdowns against Kansas State two weeks ago, Southern Cal's comeback bid fell short by seven points. They've had the toughest schedule in the nation this year, which will benefit them in the Pac-10.
USC 27 Washington State 17
No. 21 Penn State at No. 15 Wisconsin
Penn State came back against Iowa last week, scoring 22 points in the fourth quarter, but lost in overtime. Quarterback Zack Mills set a school record with 399 passing yards and four touchdown passes. This week, they'll be ready ÷ hungry to avenge a dismal 18-6 loss to the Badgers last year. PSU rushed for only 23 yards in that game.

Stanford at No. 9 Notre Dame
This is another big game for the Pac-10 this week, but it's unlikely the Cardinal will even show up. Last week, Stanford had seven turnovers in a 65-24 loss to Arizona State. ASU QB Andrew Walter threw for 414 yards and four touchdowns. This week, ND quarterback Carlyle Holiday will throw for 525 yards and five touchdowns.
