Criminal damage
A student reported someone damaged his car and wrote "nazimobile" in the dirt on the car Sunday, reports stated.
Police met with the student, who said he parked his car on the first level of Cherry Garage, 1641 E. Enke Dr., at 9 p.m. on Sunday. He returned to his car at 4 a.m. on Saturday to discover his rear spoiler on his car had been broken, and the word "nazimobile" was written in the dirt on the car. There were no items missing from inside the car, and no further damage was found. There are no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
Medical assistance
Police responded to assist an employee who had accidentally cut himself in a campus building Monday, reports stated.
An employee accidentally cut his inner right thigh while using a pocket knife to cut a plastic tie in the basement of the University Services Annex, 220 W. Sixth St., at about 1:15 p.m. When police arrived, the Tucson Fire Department was on the scene and had stopped the bleeding from the employee's leg.
The employee was transported to the University Medical Center. Risk Management was notified of the incident, and custodial employees cleaned up the blood, reports stated.
Lost property
A student reported losing her wallet Monday near the Arizona Stadium scoreboard, reports stated.
The student told police that she was walking in the area of 540 N. Vine Ave. at about 2:15 p.m., and looking inside her purse. She said she believes that as she was looking inside her purse, her wallet fell out. The student returned to the area to look for her wallet, when she was told by an unknown couple that a man carrying a large instrument on a bicycle had picked up the wallet and left.
There are no suspects, reports stated.
Bicycle stolen
A student reported his bike stolen Monday, reports stated.
The student told officers that on Saturday evening, he locked his bike to the racks north of La Paz Residence Hall, 602 N. Highland Ave., by placing a U-lock through the front tire. When he returned at 7 p.m., he discovered his frame and rear wheel were missing.
There are no suspects, reports stated.
Bicycle stolen
A student reported his $200 bicycle was stolen Monday near a campus building, reports stated.
The student told police at about 11 a.m. he locked his bike to the racks near the Psychology building, 1503 E. University Blvd. He returned to the area after his class an hour later, and discovered his bike was stolen.
There are no suspects, reports stated.
Criminal damage
A woman reported her truck was damaged Monday, reports stated.
The woman told officers she parked her truck at 1516 E. Mabel St. at 9 a.m. She returned to the truck at about 1 p.m., and discovered the driver side door keyhole was punched out. She also saw the ignition switch was broken off, and that she was unable to start the vehicle.
She told officers her father would have the truck towed. Police attempted to dust the truck for fingerprints, but were not able to find any latent prints.
Nothing was missing from inside the truck. There are no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
Criminal damage
A student reported Sunday that his car was damaged sometime between Sept. 24 and Sept. 25, reports stated.
The student said on Sept. 24 at about 11 p.m., he parked his car at 1701 E. First St. When he returned to his car at noon the next day, he found the locking mechanism on the driver's side damaged, and the locking mechanism on the passenger side door missing.
The student said the suspects were unable to make entry into his car, and that no items were missing. No other damage was done to the vehicle.
The student said he wanted to file a report for insurance purposes. There are no suspects, reports stated.
Lost property
A student reported Monday that she lost her purse at a fraternity house, reports stated. The student told police she lost her purse between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Sept. 27 at the Pike Fraternity House, 1525 E. Drachman St.
She returned to the house on Monday, but was unable to find her purse. The purse contained credit cards, cash, a CatCard and a driver's license. The credit card companies were notified of the incident. There are no suspects, reports stated.
