A UA student had items stolen from her purse in the Student Union Memorial Center Jan. 21, reports stated.
The student said she forgot her purse on a table in the food court at 9:40 a.m. When she returned she found her purse sitting on the floor by the table, reports stated.
Two dollars and the student's cell phone were the only things missing.
Police have no suspects, reports stated.
A UA student had a black nylon backpack stolen in the Gould-Simpson building on Jan. 21, reports stated.
The student went into an office to talk to her professor and left the bag on a chair right outside the office door. When the student came out of the office a half hour later, the bag was gone, reports stated.
Among the items stolen were keys to several buildings across campus, a CatCard, a Visa, a MasterCard, a W-2 tax form, and an address book, reports stated.
Police searched the building and were unable to recover the bag, reports stated.
Police responded to a false alarm at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., at 2:50 p.m. The alarm was reset, reports stated.
Officers were called to 1131 E. Second St. Wednesday afternoon after a report of a suspicious odor was made. The odor was found to be cleaning solvent, reports stated.
Officers were called to East Speedway Boulevard and North Campbell Avenue Wednesday morning, where a male suspect was waving a glass bottle. The suspect was advised not to wave the bottle and complied, reports stated.
A smoke alarm went off at Wednesday afternoon at 1009 E. North Campus Dr. Officers found the alarm was activated by burnt food in the kitchen, reports stated.
A Kenwood stereo system was stolen from 520 N. Fremont Ave., Wednesday around 6 p.m., reports stated.
Police responded to a hit-and-run accident at 815 E. Second St. Wednesday evening. No one was injured and there were minor injuries to the vehicle, reports stated.
Police responded to a report of a male exposing himself at the Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., Wednesday night. No arrests were made, reports stated.
A 1999 Ford F250 was stolen from 421 N. Cherry Ave., Wednesday at about 6:30 p.m., reports stated.
Police responded to a traffic law violation at North Plumer Avenue and East Sixth Street Wednesday evening. The driver was cited and released for driving on a suspended driver's licensed, reports stated.
Police responded to reports of suspicious activity at 744 N. Highland Ave., Wednesday evening, reports stated. No arrests were made.
