Women's hoops forward says she's goofy, and thinks it's all about Shaquille

Wildcat: I'm Claire from the Daily Wildcat and you're on the spot.

Hobson: OK, wow!

Wildcat: Describe your most embarrassing moment to me.

Hobson: I don't know that I have a most embarrassing moment, I'm goofy as it is. I just kind of roll with the punches.

Wildcat: Do you get punched a lot?

Hobson: (laughing) Not really punched, but when you do something embarrassing, you just kind of roll with it.

Wildcat: So does everyone on the team joke around and get into trouble?

Hobson: Yeah, not too much trouble but we joke around a lot.

Wildcat: Do you pull pranks on each other?

Hobson: Yes, that's always fun. I can remember one of us getting locked up in the locker room and all the teammates had to go save that person.

Wildcat: I know you're from Cali - what would you say is the biggest drag about Tucson?

Hobson: There's no place like California, so ... I dunno ...where I'm from is kind of desert, too ... but I guess things to do... having more things to do besides ...

Wildcat: Watch the grass grow?

Hobson: Yeah! And there's no grass ... so ...

Wildcat: Well, you can watch the grass on the Mall go brown.

Hobson: Yeah, from brown to browner.

Wildcat: Who's your favorite male athlete?

Hobson: Definitely Shaquille (O'Neal). It's all about Shaq.

Wildcat: Would you go out on a date with Shaq if he asked you?

Hobson: He has too many kids!

Wildcat: You think so? So you don't wanna ...?

Hobson: Be a wife and all that? Nah, nah ... I don't think so!

Wildcat: What if he didn't have baggage?

Hobson: He is a good athlete, and I will leave it at that.
