A student hit a woman's car Tuesday night while it was parked in Cherry Garage, 1641 E. Enke Drive, and then left the scene, reports stated.

The woman said she believed her 1997 Toyota had been hit by the 1994 Toyota Camry parked next to it. The woman's Toyota had scratches and a dent, and the Camry also had damage, reports stated.

Police contacted the car's owner, who told police her son, the student, drove the car.

Police asked the owner to have her son contact them.

The student then met police in the garage, reports stated.

The student said, "I came close to the car when parking, but I didn't think I hit it."

The student then told police it was possible he had not heard the collision because of the loud construction outside.

While police continued to question the student, they noticed the student's eyes were red and bloodshot, reports stated.

The student then yelled several times, "I hit the car!" reports stated.

When police asked the student why he was saying that, the student said, "Look at the evidence."

The student was cited and released for leaving the scene of an accident, reports stated.

Police found a student's Nissan Tuesday morning, which had been stolen sometime between Sunday and Tuesday, although the student didn't know it, reports stated.

The student told police he had parked his Nissan in a Zone 1 lot, 421 N. Cherry Ave., Sunday night and hadn't used his car or returned to the lot since.

Police told the student items had been stolen from his Nissan.

Police then told the student he could pick up his Nissan from storage, reports stated.

A $100 CD player and $450 worth of CDs were stolen Monday afternoon from a car parked in a Zone 1 lot, 1904 E. Helen St., reports stated.

When police arrived, they saw someone had broken the passenger-side window to get into the car.

The car's owner said he had parked his car around 1 p.m., and when he returned around 5:30 p.m., he noticed the broken window and missing CD player.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

A Parking and Transportation Services employee discovered a golf cart Sunday morning parked on the sidewalk in front of the Carl S. Marvel Chemistry Laboratory, 1213 E. South Campus Drive, report stated.

When police arrived, they saw the golf cart was wedged between a brick wall and a UA pickup truck. Both the golf cart and the UA pickup were damaged.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

Police found a man trespassing at Campbell Farms, 4040 N. Campbell Ave., Saturday after someone spotted the man with no shirt on staring at a bulldozer, reports stated.

When police arrived, they noticed the man was still looking at the bulldozer and had a knife in his hand.

The police asked the man to drop the knife, and he threw it on the ground.

After the man identified himself to police, police discovered he had a Tucson Police Department warrant.

The man was cited and released for the warrant and for trespassing, reports stated.

Police saw five males steal two bike tires March 3 from the Graduate Diversity Programs building, 1031 N. Mountain Ave., reports stated.

After police saw the five males steal the tires, they found the males riding BMX bikes on North Olive Road. Two of the males were carrying bike tires.

When police approached the males, one said he got the tires from his uncle.

The male then gave police his name and rode away. The other males also started to ride off in different directions.

Police caught one of the males, who claimed he had not been there when the tires were stolen and that he did not know the other males.

The wheels were placed into police property, reports stated.

Someone put a dime-sized dent in a student's BMW Sunday morning while it was parked in the Main Gate Garage, 815 E. Second St., reports stated.

The student told police she parked her BMW around 9 a.m. and that when she returned three hours later she noticed the dent.

Police noticed there was also blue paint on the BMW.

The student said she believed the person driving the Jeep that was parked next to the BMW hit her car.

Police contacted the Jeep's owner, who said he had not hit the BMW. Police could find no evidence that the Jeep had hit the BMW.

The student estimated it would cost $200 to fix the dent.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
