Gymnastics: Bisordi takes 5th on floor at NCAAs
Junior gymnast named second-team All-American
Arizona junior Monica Bisordi earned second-team All-America honors on floor, finishing fifth with a score of 9.900 in the afternoon session of the 2004 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships yesterday in UCLA's Pauley Pavilion.
Bisordi, a San Mateo, Calif., native, earned All-America honors for the first time in her career and becomes the 15th Arizona gymnast in school history to garner All-America accolades. Bisordi also posted marks of 9.850 on vault, 9.750 on bars and 9.725 on beam, to finish with an all-around score of 39.225 in the meet.

Wildcats set for Spring Game
Training culminates with final scrimmage
The Arizona football program will provide UA fans with free entertainment for UA fans when it closes its spring practice session tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Arizona Stadium in the team's annual Spring Game.
"It's the same game situation that we play on a Saturday night," said sophomore safety Darrell Brooks. "We want to impress our fans to give them something to look forward to."

Cats hit Bay area to face Cal, Stanford
The Arizona softball team could face its toughest test of the season when it travels to the Bay area to face the Pac-10's top schools - but the Wildcats will be armed with a star who shunned Stanford for academic reasons.
No. 1 Arizona (40-1, 4-0 Pacific 10 Conference) travels to the Farm to face the No. 10 Cardinal (32-10, 3-2) today before crossing the San Francisco Bay to play California (36-6, 3-3) tomorrow and Sunday.

Baseball brings new momentum back home
The Arizona baseball team will close out a seven-day, six-game stretch this weekend with a non-
conference match up against UT Pan American at Sancet Stadium.
The Wildcats (18-15-1) and Broncs open the three-game set tonight at 7. The series continues tomorrow at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
Sophomore John Meloan (2-0) will get his second start of the year for the Wildcats. In his first start, Meloan threw eight innings, giving up three runs in earning the victory.

Women's tennis tries to salvage season against ASU
The No. 40 Arizona women's tennis team faces No. 41 ASU tomorrow at the Robson Tennis Center in its final home match of the season.
In what has been a tough year for the Wildcats (5-12, 1-6 Pacific 10 Conference), a victory over ASU would help heal some of the wounds from the brutal Pac-10 schedule. All nine Pac-10 teams are ranked in the top 50, and five are in the top 10.
Beyond the issue of upending its rival - Arizona beat ASU earlier in the season for its lone conference win - the match is crucial because it would likely put Arizona in the regionals.

Men's tennis dives into Devils' den
The end of the season is fast approaching, and there is nothing the Arizona men's tennis team would like more than feast on some Sun Devils.
The No. 23 Wildcats (11-8, 4-7 Pacific 10 Conference) visit No. 34 Arizona State (8-11, 1-5) tomorrow in their final regular-season match.
Arizona defeated ASU 6-1 in its last meeting and looks to sweep the Devils for the first time since 1994. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 52-34.

Laxcats seek to extend win streak to 8 at ASU
For Arizona's men's lacrosse team, tomorrow's match at ASU is more than just the regular season finale.
"We're treating it like a playoff game," head coach Kenny Broschart said. "Just gnawing away in the playoffs."
The Laxcats (11-3, 5-1 Western Collegiate Lacrosse League) return to the Phoenix area having come full circle from their season opening 9-4 loss in the Valley of the Sun mid-February to Colorado State.
