The Arizona men's tennis team completed play at the Icy Hot/ITA All-American yesterday. Individually, the Wildcats earned an 8-3 record and two spots in the semifinals of the pre-qualifying rounds.

Competing in the semifinals were senior Carl Hagman and junior Paul Warkentin. Josh Cohen of Miami needed all three sets to defeat Hagman, 6-2, 5-7, 6-1. Hagman now falls to 6-2 on the season. Warkentin fell behind early to Marek Dvorak of Colorado, losing the first set, 6-2. In the second set, Warkentin fell behind 1-0, and then was forced to retire due to an injury.

The Wildcats will be in action next at the Midland College Classic, Oct. 12-19.
