There was no sign of forced entry. The lock to the locker was still fastened. The only people with access to the locker were the employee and his supervisor, reports stated.

Although the cage is locked, many employees have keys to the lock on the gate, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

The student parked her car in the Zone 1 lot at 1420 E. Helen St. at 10:15 a.m. When she returned at 2:45 p.m., that same day, the pass was gone.

He left the Revo sunglasses next to his computer monitor earlier in the day. When he got up to leave, they were gone. Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

A student reported that somebody had tried to steal her car stereo on Tuesday from a parking lot on 1420 E. Seventh St., reports stated.

The woman parked her car at 9:15 a.m. and returned at 5:30 p.m. the same day. She saw the driver-side front window of her Honda Civic was smashed, reports stated.

When she looked inside the car, she saw that somebody had broken the dashboard around her stereo. The stereo was still there and still worked, reports stated.

A UA professor on sabbatical in Poland called UAPD Oct. 6 after a doctoral student in her university lab wrote a profane e-mail to her, reports stated.

The student was leaving the professor's lab for an unknown reason and wrote an email asking the professor to give back his university-issued keys. The student wrote that he could not get new keys from the university until he turned in the old ones, reports stated.

The professor, whose lab is located in the Biomedical Research Labs, 1607 N. Warren Ave., said she did not know why the student was upset. He was a good student, she told police.

She did receive an e-mail from a colleague recently that stated the student had failed one of the professor's tests, reports stated.

A student called UAPD after he found his car broken into Oct. 6 and his stereo equipment stolen, reports stated.

The student parked his Ford F-150 in the UA lot at 421 N. Cherry Ave. at 11 a.m. When he returned at 9:30 p.m. that evening he noticed that the driver-side door lock was knocked out, reports stated.

The student entered the vehicle and saw that his $600 Alpine stereo was removed from the dashboard. His $600 Rockford Fosgate amplifier was stolen and the truck's ignition was tampered with.

Police could not find any evidence. Fingerprints were not taken because the student entered the vehicle and because it was raining, reports stated.
