Acting junior spent lots of time at gym getting in shape for his thong scene in UA's latest performance
Wildcat: Hi my name's Nathan.
Todd: Noah, were you at the show today?
Wildcat: Yeah. Were you the guy in the thong?
Todd: Yeah.
Wildcat: Was that rough for you?
Todd: Was that rough for me?
Wildcat: Yeah, to go out there butt-naked?
Todd: Nah, it definitely wasn't. Right when I knew about the casting for that, I hired on a personal trainer.
Wildcat: For what?
Todd: Well, I hit the gym like three days a week and I wanted my body to be in a really good shape.
Wildcat: A flabby butt would have been kind of weird, flopping around ·
Todd: Yeah, it definitely would.
Wildcat: So you were doing like, gluteus maximus exercises?
Todd: Yeah, doing a lot of lifting and stuff. I really wanted to tone down my body.
Wildcat: Upper body too?
Todd: Yeah, uh-huh, and legs and everything.
Wildcat: I lift weights. Can you tell?
Todd: Pardon me?
Wildcat: Actually, I haven't been in two months, so I'm getting kind of flabby.
Todd: Yeah · And I think having a really toned Eros really helps the character a lot too. Because I think having a different kind of body type would look a little funny.
Wildcat: A fat Eros?
Todd: Yeah. A fat Eros. So this cherubic angel-looking Eros might look a little ·
Wildcat: A what-looking? A what angel?
Todd: Like a cherub, you know those kind of chubby-looking ·
Wildcat: Oh, cherub. Cherubric.
Todd: Cherubric, yeah.
Wildcat: How comfortable are you with all your other characters?
Todd: I'm really comfortable.
Wildcat: You're also Hermes. What's your favorite part to play?
Todd: I also play Phaeton, then Silenus. The character that I really like · I really like Phaeton, 'cause I just think that it's a really good story about how they've taken this and adapted it to an up-tempo setting, and it's very contemporary. It's like any kid that doesn't have his dad present, you know. I've tried to personalize it as much as possible, with certain things in my own life. · That is a character I really like.
