Police responded to a fire alarm at Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall, 1010 N. Park Ave., on Thursday, reports stated.

An unknown person pulled the alarm at 1:53 a.m. After investigating the residence hall, police realized that it was a false alarm.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student called police Thursday after his bike was stolen, reports stated.

The student had locked his BMX bike to a rack near the Integrated Learning Center, 1500 E. University Blvd., earlier in the day. When he came out, it was missing.

Police arrested a person trying to use a fake driver's license to buy liquor Thursday night, reports stated.

The person used fake identification at UA Liquors, 1002 E. Sixth St., at 8:54 p.m. Police arrested the person on a minor in possession charge and for using false identification, reports stated.


A student called police Thursday after he found a hole burned in his blanket, reports stated.

The student found the burnt hole in a blanket in his room at Cochise Residence Hall, 1018 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.


Police responded to a welfare check on a person who felt ill Thursday in front of Yuma Residence Hall, 1107 E. North Campus Drive, reports stated.

Police found the person at 10:01 a.m. and transported the person to UMC, reports stated.


A woman called police Thursday after she found that her purse was stolen, reports stated.

The student called at 12:30 p.m. and said her purse was stolen from the Marley building, 1145 E. Fourth St., reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A teacher called police Thursday after a suspicious man was seen in class, reports stated.

The teacher was teaching a class in the Economics building, 1110 E. North Campus Drive, and called police at 4:02 p.m., reports stated.


A man was seen following women around the Main Library, 1500 E. University Blvd., on Thursday, reports stated.

When police arrived, they were unable to find the man, reports stated.


A worker accidentally set off a fire alarm at the Marley building, 1145 E. Fourth St., on Thursday, reports stated.

Police arrived to the building at 3:22 p.m. and found that the alarm was false, reports stated.
