Coach confident after winning just 2 in 2002
Over the last four seasons, Arizona football has struggled to an overall record of 20-26. The team has not played in a bowl game in that span and has only won 9 Pac-10 games. Many Wildcat fans have been frustrated by the team's winning drought.
To all those people who are unhappy with the Wildcats' performance over the last couple years, try being a Miners fan.
Over the last 30 seasons, UTEP has the worst record of any Division-I football program, and since 1973, with a win-loss mark of 87-242. In that same span, the Miners have labored through 15 seasons of 10 losses or more and only enjoyed three winning years, two of which came in consecutive seasons (1987, 1988).

Tobias and the Wildcats get a chance to tear down the statue against another of Klein's former schools as they open the season against Iowa State in the Arizona Invitational. The tournament will also feature Kent State and Weber State making the trip to Tucson.
"It doesn't matter who we play," said lone-senior Lindsey Greenwood. "Any team, it doesn't matter which conference. We play everyone the same."

Commentary: The Îreal' freshman checklist
Listen up, freshmen. Since this summer, the higher ups have been telling you what the college experience has in store for you. They've been preaching the joys of the UA experience, no doubt telling you what clubs to join, how to do SABIO searches in the library, and how to add a dollar on your CatCard so you can print a 10-cent page or buy that soda if you ever need refreshing.
That may be all fine and dandy, but I have for you the real freshman checklist. Listen up, freshmen. Here is your next four years: The real UA experience checklist.
