- Kara Harris, ASUA senator and voting shuttle coordinator. ASUA rented vans to shuttle students to the polls on City of Tucson general election day.
"There was an enormous amount of money spent against us by special interests ... It's not so much the money, it's the distortions. It's the mudslinging."
- Tom Volgy, Democrat, mayoral candidate, on the city's election. As of press time, Volgy trailed by 1,400 votes. The 4,000 remaining votes continue to be counted.
