Students outside of the Arizona/Sonora Residence Hall called police after a shirtless man harassed them on Sept. 1 at 1:53 a.m., reports stated.

A UAPD officer questioned some of the students before approaching the man, who was talking to another couple in front of the residence hall. All of the students said the man was walking in the area when some other people started "yelling and picking on him," reports stated.

The officer approached the man who was still talking to the couple. He saw the couple walk away and heard the man yell, "What, you don't want to suck my dick? Why not?" reports stated.

When the officer questioned the man about his comment, the man started shouting and swearing at the officer and other people walking nearby. The officer placed the man in handcuffs, checked his name in the police database and found that the man had outstanding warrants, reports stated.

The officer placed the man in his squad car and drove him to Pima County Jail to be booked. During the ride, the officer ordered the man to not return to the area. The man responded, "I'll be back tomorrow."

Two students were arrested and taken to University Medical Center after police found them staggering around North Park Avenue and East University Boulevard at 2:46 a.m. on Sept. 1, reports stated.

The officer saw a group of men walking southbound on North Park Avenue and stopped to question them. Two of the students were walking with their arms on each other's shoulders. One looked like he was holding the other up to walk, reports stated.

The officer smelled alcohol on the breath of the two staggering students and discovered that they were both under 21 years old. They said they had been drinking in Mexico. After serving the two with charges for minor in possession, one student vomited on himself and passed out on the curb, reports stated.

The other student sat down in the vomit next to his friend. When Tucson Fire Department was called to assist the passed-out student, the other started yelling at them. When the officer asked the student to move over, he started swinging his arms and began cussing at him, reports stated.

The student then stood up, got within one foot of the officer and continued yelling at him to take the passed-out student to the hospital. The two other students in the group helped secure the other student. Another officer helped handcuff the agitated student, reports stated.

Both students were taken to UMC. The student who was yelling at the officer was also cited for disorderly conduct, reports stated.

Two people were arrested on marijuana possession charges after they were caught smoking pot while sitting next to the Warren Street bike underpass at 11:23 p.m. on Sept. 1, reports stated.

UAPD officers were driving eastbound on First Street when they smelled what they thought to be burning marijuana. They stopped and questioned the 17-year-old and 18-year-old while they were sitting on the wall next to the bike path. The two said they were not smoking marijuana, reports stated.

The officers searched the area in front of the two and found a lit roach next to one of their feet. When questioned, the two claimed that it was there when they sat down, reports stated.

The officer smelled their fingers and noticed that they smelled like marijuana. They were both cited for drug possession charges. The 17-year-old was released into the 18-year-old's custody after his mother was called, reports stated.

A drunk man was stopped by UAPD after he was caught following a young woman at 1:18 a.m. on Sept. 1, reports stated.

The officer was driving on North Park Avenue when he saw a man staggering down the street. He also saw a woman walking in front of the man. When the officer stopped, the woman ran up to him and said that the drunk man was following her and that she didn't know him, reports stated.

The drunk man said he was following the woman because he was drunk. The officer cited the man for minor in possession charges and released him at the scene after the woman left the area, reports stated.

Two students were cited with minor in possession charges when they were seen walking out of their apartment complex holding beers on Sept. 1, reports stated.

A UAPD officer saw two people walking out of an apartment complex, 1850 N. Tyndall, with beers in their hands. When the officer approached them, one student dropped her beer. Both headed back into the complex but were stopped by the officer, reports stated.

When questioned, the female student first gave a false name. After lying to the officer, she recanted and gave her correct name.

Both students were cited and released at the scene.
