They used to be reserved for greasy truck drivers who seemed to throw on the caps to avoid combing their hair. Now, trucker hats are everywhere and on nearly everyone. They're the ones with the mesh backs, never fitted (that's too high class) and a foamy brim.
No longer are these hats for highway drivers. UA students are donning them like they're going out of style (and no promises when this may be!). The UofA Bookstore already sold out of the "A" hats pictured on a few people here ÷ and that's no small feat. According to sales associate Linzee Fortunato, the bookstore ordered around 250 hats, in both red and navy blue, and they sold out in only three or four days.
But have no fear. There are more hats on order, so the UA can keep on truckin'!
