Question: How do you feel about drive-thru liquor stores and the law that could potentially ban them?

history and women's studies junior

"Drinking and driving is a lot like masturbation - it's going to happen anyway and no law will stop it. It's conservative lawmaking. People have to drive to pick up alcohol anyway."

"I think the law is really bad because a friend's family owns a bunch of them, and it would put them out of business. I can see their point of view, but there's still no reason to ban them."

aerospace and engineering sophomore

"I think it's a good idea to ban them, but it probably doesn't even matter. Minors will still be able to get alcohol, and people will still drink and drive. It's sad to think that we actually have a drive-thru liquor store though."

"I like them. I can see some of the reasons why they might be banned, but the alcohol ends up in your car at some point anyway."
