Both the men's and women's golf teams dropped on the leaderboard yesterday in the Topy Cup in Tokyo.
The women's squad finished yesterday in third place after grabbing the lead on the tournaments opening day.
As a team, the Wildcats shot a 21-over-par and trail Topy Cup leader Tohoku Fukushi by 10 strokes going into the final round today.
Arizona was led individually by senior Mar Garcia, who shot a 1-under-par to move into fifth place and junior Cassandra Kirkland, who was 4-over-par and in seventh place.
The Wildcat women trail second place Florida at the Tanagura Densha Country Club and will tee off this morning in the tournament's final round.
The men's team slipped from ninth to 10th in the second round of its portion of the Topy Cup held in Fukushima, Japan yesterday.
The Wildcats posted a 14-over-par and dropped a spot from their first day finish.
New Mexico leads the field, 38 strokes ahead of Arizona.
This was the second day in a row no individual Wildcat golfer finished the day under par. Senior Nick Juszczak led the team on the day with a three-over-par and is tied with teammate sophomore Henry Liaw for 27th after 36 holes.
The men will also closeout the tournament this morning.
