"King Kong" - Starring a scantily clad Fay Wray and that giant gorilla, this 1933 classic film will be screened outdoors at La Placita Village Plaza. 110 S. Church Ave. 326-5282. 7:30 p.m. $3 donation.


Friday, June 24

Architecture in Helsinki - Though they're actually from Australia and don't really work in construction, this eight-piece band will certainly wow audiences with their eclectic sound when they perform at Solar Culture. 31 E. Toole Ave. 884-0874. 9 p.m. $7.

Shakespeare Under the Stars - The Tucson Community Theater will perform Richard III at the DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center in Reid Park. South Country Club Road between East 22nd Street and East Broadway. 791-4873. 7 p.m. Free.
