Someone broke a $150 pane glass window early Wednesday morning at the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, 1801 E. First St., reports stated.

When police arrived around 2 a.m. a fraternity member told them no one had seen who broke the kitchen door.

It looked like someone had thrown a rock through the door. No one was injured in the incident.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student was cited for being underage and possessing

alcohol Wednesday night after police saw him walking with a case of beer near East First Street and North Martin Avenue, reports stated.

Police saw the student carrying a case of Bud Light in a see-through plastic bag around 10 p.m.

Police found three Coronas and seven Bud Lights in the bag.

The student admitted to being 20 years old.

Police poured the beer out and the student was released, reports stated.


Someone stole two $4,000 42-inch plasma TVs sometime between the night of Aug. 31 and Wednesday morning from the Modern Languages building, 1423 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

When police arrived a KUAT employee said the TVs were last seen around 7 p.m. Aug. 31. It was discovered they were missing around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The employee said it would have taken two people to carry one of the TVs, reports stated.

Police found no signs of forced entry.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A young male crashed his bike on the steps at Pueblo de la Cinega, 621 N. Highland Ave., Wednesday night, reports stated.

When police arrived around 8 p.m. they saw that medics were already treating the man.

The man said he had not seen the stairs and went down the first flight.

The man said he fell, hitting his back on the top of the second flight and then fell to the base of the second flight.

The man was transported to University Medical Center, reports stated.


Three students were cited for underage drinking Aug. 30 in front of Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., reports stated.

Around 2 a.m. police saw the three students and noticed that one was visibly drunk.

Police approached the three students and smelled alcohol. One of the students had slurred speech and a sleepy look on her face, reports stated.

Another one of the students said, "I was trying to get her upstairs for the night."

The three students all admitted to drinking and were released, reports stated.


A student was cited for trying to use a fake ID the night of Aug. 30 at Gentle Ben's, 865 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

Around 11 p.m. police saw the student hand the doorman a California ID. The doorman asked to see another form of ID and the student walked off.

Police then asked the student if they could see his ID and he gave them an Arizona driver's license, reports stated.

Police asked the student if they could see his California ID and the student admitted that it was fake.

The student was released, reports stated.


A man was told to shut off his spotlight at the Delta Chi fraternity, 1701 E. First St., the night of Aug. 29 after the light blinded a Tucson Police Department pilot, reports stated.

Police got a call from TPD around 8 p.m. TPD said their pilot had been blinded and said they were possibly being tracked by a searchlight.

Police found the man with the spotlight and asked him if he was tracking pilots. The man said the light was automatically operated and did not track any air traffic.

Police asked the man to shut off the light, and he said he had been hired by the fraternity to have it on.

Police told the man the light could pose a threat to University Medical Center air transport, but the man still would not shut the light off.

A fraternity member asked police if the fraternity could get in trouble for having the light and police said yes.

The fraternity member then told the man to shut off the light, reports stated.
