Arizona faces USC O-line with Tucson tie
Southern California quarterback Matt Leinart is a great player - just ask Arizona football head coach Mike Stoops, who in spring said even then he eclipsed Utah's Alex Smith, the NFL Draft's overall No. 1 pick in April.
But as with any great quarterback, a great offensive line sits in front of the 2004 Heisman Trophy winner, anchored by junior center Ryan Kalil.
Kalil, a 6-foot-3, 285-pound Corona, Calif., native, is the son of Frank Kalil, an Arizona center from 1980-1982, and nephew of Tucson businessman George Kalil.

Women's Club Volleyball: Club team makes friends, beats foes
The Arizona women's club volleyball team may not be competing for a Pacific 10 Conference title each year, but its members' desire for a national championship is no less than for any of Dave Rubio's ladies.
While these athletes remain fierce competitors, they don't see any real animosity or competition between themselves and the Wildcats' NCAA Division-I squad.

Arizona men tie for 7th place in challenge with Big Ten
The No. 22 Arizona men's golf team finished in a tie for seventh place at the second annual Big Ten/Pacific 10 Conference Challenge in Glenview, Ill., yesterday.
The Wildcats posted a 4-over-par 292 in the final round to match Michigan State, which improved eight strokes yesterday from their second-round score of 298.
Sophomore Trey Denton shot a 1-over 73 yesterday, matching his first-round total and finishing in a tie for ninth place in the individual standings with Purdue's Pariya Junhasavasdikul.
