Career fair helps students find jobs
UA's Career Day lets students find jobs from more than 160 employers
Students of all majors can explore job and internship options today and tomorrow at UA Career Days.
At UA's largest career fair, students can meet and talk with more than 160 prospective employers from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the ballroom on the third floor of the Student Union Memorial Center.
Students who attend the fair, hosted by Career Services, should dress professionally and go to the event with a good resumé, said Susan Miller, marketing and special events coordinator for Career Services.

Students' trip out of this world
A group of UA students dedicated to space exploration will drive eight hours through the desert tonight to watch the launch of a spaceship tomorrow in Mojave, Calif.
Ten members of the UA chapter of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space, an international organization that aims to bring civilians closer to space, will attend the launch as part of their mission to advocate space exploration and education.

WebMail upgrade adds functionality
UA's e-mail system will include bigger attachments, smiley-faces
Students and staff at the UA will find a few more buttons to play around with when they check their university e-mail accounts next week.
The WebMail 2.0 system will be upgraded to WebMail 2.5 Monday, and will include new features like smiley-face icons, allowance for larger e-mail attachments and a personalized WebMail home page, according to the Center for Computing & Information Technology Web site.

BET under microscope at lecture
A media arts professor will discuss Dave Chappelle, black culture in the media and Black Entertainment Television programming at the fourth installment of the Faculty Fellows Speakers Series tomorrow.
The lecture titled "And for the Girl Backstage, Never Mind Who You Thought I Was. I'm Rick James B***h!" was conceptualized by media arts professor and UA alumnus Beretta E. Smith-Shomade.
The purpose of the lecture is "to get people thinking about the ramifications of targeting specific groups in visual culture," Smith-Shomade said.
