Tucson man also arrested for throwing pies at Coulter

A UA student and a 24-year-old Tucson man were arrested on three charges each, including a federal charge, after throwing pies at political speaker Ann Coulter during her speech Thursday night at Centennial Hall.

The shutout loss was Arizona's second home shutout loss in as many years and their sixth consecutive loss of head coach Mike Stoops' first season. [Read article]

More than 100 years before Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest," Richard Brinsley Sheridan set a precedent for witty plays about mistaken identities, meddling in idealized love and competing for amorous attentions.

"The Rivals," first produced in 1775 and considered one of the great English comedies of manners, will vie for your affection this month in the UA's Laboratory Theatre.  [ Read article]
