Men's Hoops: Cats set for Trojan war
After stumbling against unranked Stanford in their last game, the No.17 Arizona men's basketball team looks to get its engine back in gear against Southern California at 8:30 p.m. in McKale Center.
The Wildcats (12-3, 2-1 Pac-10) will play six of their next eight games at McKale, and are trying to use the time at home to their advantage.
"The home court is a big advantage, but you better play well enough to take care of your home court," said head coach Lute Olson.

Tennis duo seeks success at Pac-10 indoor tourney
Attention, naysayers.
The Arizona women tennis team's top doubles duo returns to action this weekend in the Pac-10 Indoor Championships in Seattle.
Singles play starts Friday at the Nordstrom Center at the University of Washington. Doubles play begins Saturday, giving Wildcat seniors Dianne Hollands and Maja Mlakar, selected as the nation's top women's doubles team in September, a chance to finally eradicate a disappointing fall season.

Commentary: Tucson sports - Entering the highlight zone
The spring semester has arrived, and campus is abuzz with student life. The vast majority of students are happy to reunite with friends and again have a sense of purpose after three weeks of inactivity.
Nevertheless, the cries of "Tucson is boring" will radiate loud soon enough, likely by week's end.
Fear not, malcontents.
Tucson has a wide assortment of events for the sporting enthusiast to keep busy and entertained all semester long, and a majority are right here on the UA campus.

Men's tennis sweeps Hawaii in '05 opener
The Arizona men's tennis team opened its regular season in dominant fashion, shutting out Hawaii 7-0 Tuesday afternoon at the remodeled UH Tennis Complex in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The Wildcats' dual match victory marked the beginning of the team season after the preseason individual tournaments ended two months ago. The win extended No. 26 Arizona's all-time record against Hawaii to 5-0.
UA swept the six singles matches and won two of three doubles matches, thereby earning the only point at stake in doubles.
