After two consecutive upset wins at home, the No. 20 Arizona women's gymnastics team hit the road Friday for Seattle in hopes of keeping its three-match winning streak intact.

In the end, the Gymcats (8-4) finished second out of four teams with a final score of 194.800. They finished ahead of No. 24 Minnesota (193.700) and Seattle-Pacific (191.025), but fell to host No. 22 Washington, which finished with a season-high score of 195.075.

"We continue to improve every week. This was the best team performance of the year so far," said UA head coach Bill Ryden.

The team's final score of 194.800 was the highest team total of the year. The Wildcats also posted a season- and meet-high mark on the floor exercise with a final score of 48.925.

Freshmen Rachelle Silberg, Danielle Hicks and Karin Wurm all set career-bests. Silberg set a career-best on the vault with a score of 9.825, while Hicks posted a career-high on the beam (9.725). Wurm posted career-bests in the uneven parallel bars (9.800), the floor exercise (9.750) and the vault (9.750).

"We did an awesome job," said Wurm. "We all came together and did really well, especially in an away meet."

"I'm really excited," she said of her three career-best scores on the weekend. "I'm just getting used to competing, and we're all getting better and better."

Senior Monica Bisordi won the individual title on beam with a 9.850 on her way to third place in the all-around standings with a final score of 39.050.

Senior Katie Johnson shared the individual title on the floor (9.850) with Washington's Carly Dockendorf and claimed her third straight vault victory (9.850).

The Gymcats travel to Berkeley, Calif., Friday to take on California
