Baseball team splits 2 games in San Diego
The Arizona baseball team dropped to 14-3 on the season after losing its second game at the San Diego Baseball Classic Saturday. The No. 19-ranked Wildcats fell to San Diego State 12-9 thanks to four runs in the top of the 10th off freshman pitcher Shelley Duncan.
Friday the Wildcats defeated UC-San Diego 10-4, led by sophomore shortstop Keoni DeRenne's first career grand slam.
