Another burglary suspect arrested

Another student was arrested yesterday in connection with a string of burglaries that occurred over a one-month period in a campus building, UAPD officials said.

Anthony N. Oglesby, an astronomy freshman, was arrested yesterday morning by University of Arizona Police Department officers on charges of third-degree burglary, theft and interfering with an educational institution.

He was identified as one of the two suspects named in the theft of more than $10,000 in equipment from the fifth floor of the Physics and Atmospheric Sciences building, 1118 E. Fourth St., said UAPD Sgt. Mike Smith.

Both Oglesby and the other suspect, astronomy freshman Nikolas M. Thompson, were identified by many members of the campus community after pictures taken from a surveillance camera were published in the Arizona Daily Wildcat. [Read article]
