· Deadline to pay for Fall 2002 without late charges

Aug. 6

· Begin Fall 2002 late payment charge of $50

Aug. 14 ö 21

· International student orientation and registration program (undergraduate &

graduate students)

Aug. 16

· Student health insurance begins for Fall 2002

Aug. 20

· Graduate student orientation

Aug. 22

· Residence halls open

Aug. 23

· Last day for undergraduate students to file for leave of absence

· Deadline for 100 percent refund for Fall 2002 semester (in person only)

Aug. 25

· Deadline for 100 percent refund for Fall 2002 semester using RSVP or WebReg

· Freshman Convocation

Aug. 26

· Application deadline for Graduate College non-degree admission

· First day of classes; 90 percent refund begins; RSVP and WebReg available except for those students adding from zero units who must prepay to register

· First day to file for Grade Replacement Opportunity (GRO) for Fall 2002 semester

Aug. 26 ö Sept. 6

· Change of schedule (drop/add) forms will be collected Monday -Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the following sites:

÷ Bear Down Gymnasium (basement, Room 9)

÷ Forbes Building (entrance lobby)

÷ McClelland Hall (outside Room 103)

Aug. 31

· ćURä hold flags set for students with unpaid tuition or registration

· Last day to add, change classes or sections using RSVP & WebReg

· Last day to change to or from pass/fail grade using RSVP & WebReg

· Last day for registration from zero units using RSVP & WebReg

Sept. 2

· Labor Day (no classes)

Sept. 3

· RSVP and WebReg no longer available for adding classes; change of schedule form required; students who have unpaid units and who lack financial aid guarantee flag must prepay in order to add units

· Last day for registration from zero units using only a change of schedule (drop/add) form

Sept. 4

· Registration cancellation: Unpaid course registrations will be subject to automatic cancellation; e-mail notification of tuition shortfall and cancellation of classes; to register for classes tuition and fees must be paid in advance

· Registration from zero units requires a late registration petition

Sept. 9

· Change of schedule (drop/add) form processing resumes in the Curriculum & Registration Office (Administration Building, Room 210)

· Student health insurance: Last day to add, drop or change insurance for Fall 2002

Sept. 16

· Census date: Last day to increase units or have unpaid registration charges without $250 late charge

· Last day to file a late registration petition

Sept. 17

· Begin $250 late charge for unpaid registration or additional class units

Sept. 20

· Last day for filing Grade Replacement Opportunity (GRO) for Fall 2002

· Last day to drop without a grade; class will not appear on the transcript

· Last day to use RSVP & WebReg for dropping a course without a grade

· Last day to change from pass/fail to regular grade or vice versa using a change of schedule (drop/add) form; instructorās signature indicating permission is required

Sept. 23

· Deanās signature indicating permission on change of schedule (drop/add) form is required to change from pass/fail to regular grade or vice versa

· Instructorās signature indicating permission on change of schedule (drop/add) form is required to drop a class with a grade of ćWä; permission will not be granted if work to date is not passing.

· 25 percent refund begins

Oct. 14

· Begin registration for Winter Session 2002-2003 classes

Oct. 18

· Last day to drop a class with a grade of ćWä (if passing) or change from graded course to audit (or vice versa); instructorās signature indicating permission on change of schedule (drop/add) form is required

Oct. 19

· Deadline for 25 percent refund

Oct. 21

· All registration changes require not only instructorās signature indicating permission on a change of schedule (drop/add) form, but also the Deanās signature

Oct. 21 ö 25

· Begin Spring 2003 priority registration for early priority groups (DRC, SALT, and athletes) via RSVP & WebReg

Oct. 25

· Honorās Convocation (No Classes from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Oct. 26

· Begin Spring 2003 priority registration for graduate, medicine, pharmacy, seniors, and post-baccalaureate education certification via RSVP & WebReg
