What were you doing when the U.S. campaign in Iraq began last week?
Darrenn Jackson
Optical science and engineering sophomore
"I was actually in "Eat n' Park," a restaurant that sells these little sugar cookies with smiley faces and frosting on them, when I heard the bombs were actually dropping. So that set a weird juxtaposition for the rest of the week."
Lisa Ngo
Physiology senior
"I was up in Chandler with my parents just sitting down and watching TV when (Bush) was giving his final statement."
Ilysa Round
Pre-nursing sophomore
"I was in Rocky Point, and we were getting ready to leave, and we kind of really didn't care. We drank. We partied. And then it started to affect us on the way back. We're on the way home, like, ÎOh geez, we're at war, and now it's time to go back to America and deal with it.'"
