Police pulled the man over after observing that he forgot to turn on his headlights and was traveling on a flat left front tire, reports stated.

After smelling intoxicants on the man's breath, officers proceeded to conduct a field sobriety test. Before he exited the vehicle, officers asked him if he had been drinking and he said no. When an officer asked if he was being honest, the man said he drank one beer in the last hour, reports stated.

The man was taken to the police station after taking part in the "walk and turn," "one leg-stand," and "horizontal gaze" exercises. A breath test at the station showed the man's blood alcohol content level was .094, reports stated.
