"The Tango Lesson" will be shown in the Modern Languages auditorium Friday at 7:30 p.m. This intellectual film directed by Sally Potter is about a filmmaker who is frustrated by Hollywood and begins to take tango lessons where the male leads the female.

Shock rocker Alice Cooper will be performing along with Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke on Friday at Tucson Convention Center Arena, 260 S. Church Ave. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. The cost is anywhere from $22 to $40. Call 791-4266 for more information.
