Head football coach John Mackovic was called out by a majority of his team after he made inappropriate remarks to several players. Many thought Mackovie would resign in a press confrence yesterday, but rather he apologized for his actions. The Wildcat asked students, "Should Mackovic still be Arizona's football coach?"
It's not right for any coach to say what he did. He had his reasons and deserves another chance. I don't think he should get fired but something needs to be done.

I'm surprised he still has a job. How can they say he is definitely secure in having his job back next year?

I think there needs to be a change made because it seems that the team will feel more comfortable with someone else. It just makes sense.

There could be more to it than we know. All the players were pretty upset about it and it obviously destroyed Mackovic. It shows the team is unified.

I think he is doing the best he can with what he's got and I don't think it's the coaching but the motivation of the players. A coach can only do so much.

I don't think he should get fired but rather re-think his coaching skills. He needs to be more motivating rather than so condescending to his players.
