As part of the American Indian Studies Program, Internationally renowned writer Paula Gunn Allen will give a lecture titled "The Poetics and Politics II" tonight at 7:30 in the Modern Languages building Auditorium. The lecture is free.


The Arizona Wind Quintet's fall concert, with a theme of contemporary Latin music, takes place tonight at 7 in the Holsclaw Recital Hall. The event is $10 for the general public, $8 for UA employees and seniors and $4 for students.


The Faculty Senate meets today between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the James E. Rogers College of Law, Room 146.
