Wildcat: What was your reaction when you found out that you were named Pac-10 player of the week?

Polk: I was happy, but I don't really care about that stuff. I'm more concerned with how our team does.

Wildcat: How did you feel when you heard the UA was ranked in the Top 25?

Polk: I was so excited. I have been happy ever since.

Wildcat: You've made the transition into the college game look easy. What has been the key for you?

Polk: My teammates ÷ they have been great. I was really scared coming in, but they kind of talk to me and calm me down.

Wildcat: What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

Polk: Open my eyes and brush my teeth.

Wildcat: If you were a superhero, who would you be?

Polk: Pikachu. He's my super hero.

Wildcat: What is your favorite thing to do when you are not playing basketball?

Polk: Hang out with friends and just have fun.

Wildcat: Who do you think will win the NBA championship?

Polk: The Lakers.

Wildcat: Even though they have been struggling lately?

Polk: They'll bounce back.

Wildcat: If you had $1 million, what's the first thing you'd buy?

Polk: I'd probably buy something for my mom.

Wildcat: Name one thing you are afraid of.

Polk: I'm afraid of everything.

Wildcat: Why did you pick number 00?

Polk: I am a big Dennis Rodman fan, the way he rebounded and didn't care what anyone thought about him. I couldn't get his old number (91), so I got the number the closest I could.
