Arizona vs Purdue
Unranked Wake upsets ranked NCST. Unranked Purdue upsets ranked Wake. Unranked Arizona·don't wanna jinx it. That's college football. While I love the originality of their mascot and am quite fond of the stadium name, this game will, odds-on, be closer in miles then points. Purdue is already looking at Notre Dame, though·so stay with me, maybe if Arizona changes their...

Arizona State vs Iowa
Some of us are still waiting for Brad Banks to pull a replacement job after that Orange Bowl (i.e. Shane "Footsteps" Falco), and until then, Iowa QB Nate Chandler can't play until he finds some heart. (Dramatic pause) Should be a close one and these teams will both go to bowl games, like the "Lookwewoneightgames.com Bowl", presented by "Twobetterteamsinourconference."
Iowa 31, Arizona State 28

Michigan vs Oregon
Let's look at THE number behind this game. Clemons and Fife completed 11 passes each against Arizona. Farmer had 11 rushes and 11 yards receiving. Ann Arbor received 111,726 in attendance for Michigan's game against the Irish. Rivas has made 11 of 11 extra points for the Wolverines. According to this pattern, Michigan wins by·15.
Michigan 44, Oregon 29

Tennesee vs Florida
When a comet or asteroid impacts the surface of a planet, the crater diameter is approximately 10 times the diameter of the projectile, relative to planetary conditions. Projectiles travel anywhere from 34,000 to 56,000 mph, thus massive amounts of energy are released. A 1 kg projectile going 34,000 mph equals 100,000 one-megaton hydrogen bombs and forms a 10 km crater.

Arizona vs Purdue
If five of your top six leading tacklers are defensive backs, someone is running all over you. This week sophomore Jerod Void, averaging 67 yards per game, will scamper for over 100. No one has a tougher schedule remaining than the Boilermakers who still have to go to Ann Arbor and Columbus. Please coach Tiller, go easy on the Wildcats.

Arizona State vs Iowa
I know some people who would be highly upset with me if I went against Iowa. Last week in Tempe the Sun Devils scraped by a team worse than UTEP (Utah State) by 10 points; that's miserable. The Hawkeyes remain too tough on their corn-laden home turf. ASU makes it interesting but falls short. Grandma and Grandpa in Solon rejoice.
Iowa 38 ASU 27

Michigan vs Oregon
I heard the entire Michigan squad voted against traveling to Eugene on a chartered flight, opting instead to travel on the back of Chris Perry. Although Perry's number have fallen of late ÷ only 133 rushing yards against Notre Dame ÷ the senior will run all over a defense that yielded 42 yards on 11 carries to Arizona's Clarence Farmer last week.
Michigan 35 Oregon 24

Tennesee vs Florida
Scoring over 60 points twice this season won't help the Gators this week when a solid Volunteers squad goes in to Gainesville and drops the Crocs to .500. Tennessee running backs Cedric Houston and Jabari Davis benefit from a two-week rest and strong offensive line as Tennessee squeaks by. On Sunday, Fireronzook.com gets the most hits it has ever gotten.

Arizona vs Purdue
I'm sure I'm a little biased, but quite frankly, I think Purdue is going to take the ÎCats behind the ol' woodshed. I know Arizona has some athletes, but Purdue needs to make a statement and the Wildcats are in the wrong place this weekend. Key stat: ÎCats averaged 43.8 yards on the ground in 2002. Purdue holds opponents to 53 rushing yards.
Purdue 45, Arizona 10

Arizona State vs Iowa
In what's shaping up to be a great early season inter-conference game, the Sun Devils will come up just short in Iowa City. Iowa's Fred Russell looks just as good as last year, and the thought of safety Bob Sanders lighting them up will be enough to scare the Sun Devil receivers just enough to drop a few balls.
Iowa 28, Arizona State 24

Michigan vs Oregon
I know the Ducks are undefeated, but they have about as good a chance of beating the Wolverines as they do getting a date in their hideous uniforms. If they're lucky, half of Michigan's roster will suffer from blind spells. But otherwise, Michigan looks good enough to win it all, and Chris Perry's Heisman case will only get stronger against a Pac-10 defense.
Michigan 31, Oregon 14

Tennesee vs Florida
I see my Big Ten bias won't be a factor in this one as the Vols try to avenge last year's home loss to the Gators. Last year, Florida lost to Miami and crushed the Vols. This year Florida lost to Miami and will· well, beat the Vols. Two good offenses will score a lot, but Florida's got more talent.
Florida 35, Tennessee 24
