Freshman braves rain to locate some grub instead of studying for upcoming biology exam
Wildcat: Hi. My name's Nathan and you're On the Spot. And I'm on a bike. You live on campus?
Day: Yeah.
[Wildcat almost tips over]
Day: Do you want me to stop?
Wildcat: No. We don't have to stop. I'll just learn how to drive really slow and balance while not moving very much. So why are you out in the rain tonight?
Day: I've got to get food. We don't have anything in our dorm.
Wildcat: Oh. So did anything frustrating happen to you today?
Day: I'm studying for my biology test and I don't get anything I'm studying.
Wildcat: Aww. Just remember · Oh crap. I don't remember anything either. Crap. Yeah, don't remember that · um, I've had a bad day today. I got into a fight with one of my friends. I had to apologize. So I'm in a foul disposition. Can you say anything superbly funny or comical · or maybe wise, like proverbial ÷ that can cheer me up?
Day: Let me think · "wise or
proverbial ... "
Wildcat: Women with glasses always got something proverbial to say.
Day: "Your friend is always right if they're the one providing the food."
Wildcat: That's cool.
Day: I've learned that one from experience.
Wildcat: I think food is the ultimate · how would you say it? · It heals all wounds?
Day: Yeah.
Wildcat: An elixir sort of? If there ever was an elixir, it would be food. And Mexican food at that. Well, that's not true, Īcause I've actually come across some vegetarian friends · and they eat some crazy food. And I don't know if they would throw down with the Mexican diet like I do. But that's all right. I still love them. It's cold, huh?
Day: A little.
Wildcat: Well, you got a jacket on.
Day: Ah, it's mostly for the rain.
