Question: Where in the heck did the Bursar's Office go? And for that matter, why is everything in a different place this year?

Answer: For new students (and a few returners), campus can sometimes be a confusing place, and it's tough to find what you're looking for.

Like the time I searched for hours for the Bank One ATM machine while the Student Union Memorial Center was still under construction. Never fear, I'm here to help.

First of all, as most of you all know, the Bursar's Office has moved to a new location, from the Administration Building to Suite 104 in the University Services Building on North Euclid Avenue and East Second Street.

However, for those of you who still find yourself standing in the Administration Building, utterly confused and staring at the place where you used to go to pay tuition, an erratic golf-cart shuttle service has been put in place to taxi you directly to the new office.

You can head to the north side of Admin and wait 15 or 20 minutes until it eventually shows up, or you could brave the wild jungle we call campus and try to find the office yourself.

Another important tip: Until Sept. 5 students must go to one of three places to turn in a change of schedule form in order to drop or add a class.

I'm guessing this is to alleviate the already overflowing amount of people in the Admin Building these first few hectic weeks. Forms will be collected from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the following sites:

· Bear Down Gymnasium (basement, room 9)
· Forbes Building (entrance lobby)
· Student Union Memorial Center (information desk)

Also, the Parking and Transportation Offices have moved from the University Services Building to the East Sixth Street parking garage, 1117 E. Sixth Street.

So now you know where to go to pay the parking ticket you got only one minute after the meter expired.

And in case any of you wanted to know, Residence Life offices also have a new home now, in the new Villa del Puente residence hall on North Highland Avenue and East Sixth Street.

I hope that helps! Now, if you can only remember where your classes are ·
