Three people were arrested Oct. 13 in the Wendy's drive-thru, 1005 N. Campbell Ave., after they were seen smoking marijuana while driving near East Speedway Boulevard and North Martin Avenue, reports stated.

An officer saw the driver and front passenger in a red mini-van passing what looked to be a marijuana cigarette between the two of them. They also passed it to a passenger in the backseat, reports stated.

The officer reported the vehicle to the UAPD police station, 1852 E. First St., and two bicycle officers responded. They searched the vehicle and found no other drugs, reports stated.

Three of the four passengers admitted to smoking marijuana. One of the passengers was a minor, reports stated.

All three were cited and released on possession of marijuana. Police called the parents of the minor to report that she had been arrested, reports stated.


A student called police Wednesday after he found his bicycle missing from the Steward Observatory, 933 N. Cherry Ave., reports stated.

The student locked his red Schwinn mountain bike with a cable lock to a rack on the west side of the building at 9 a.m. When he returned an hour later, both the bike and cable lock were gone, reports stated.

Police have no witnesses or suspects, reports stated


A student found her truck had been broken into and stereo stolen after parking it Wednesday in a Zone 1 lot, 1370 E. Seventh St., reports stated.

The student parked her blue Ford F-150 in the lot at 9:15 a.m. When she returned at 10:15 a.m., she noticed that the key lock on the driver-side door had been removed, reports stated.

When she looked in the truck, she saw that her $300 Pioneer stereo was missing and the console surrounding the stereo was damaged, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student called police Wednesday after her dark green GT mountain bike was stolen from the Anthropology building, 1009 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.

The student secured the bike through the frame and front tire with a heavy-duty cable lock at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. When she returned from class two hours later, the bike and cable lock were gone, reports stated.

The bike was locked to a rack on the east side of the building and had a shock absorber attached to the frame, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student called police after her wallet was stolen Wednesday from a restroom in the Music building, 1017 N. Olive Road, reports stated.

The student went into the restroom at noon and put her purse on a table inside the restroom. When she exited the restroom, she grabbed her purse and went to class, reports stated.

Later in the afternoon, she went to use an ATM at the Student Union Memorial Center and found that her wallet was missing. Her debit card, driver's license and CatCard were inside the wallet, reports stated.

The wallet is described as black with two flowers on the front. Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A student called police Wednesday after his bike was stolen from the Shantz building, 1200 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.

The student locked his silver BMX Powerline mountain bike to a rack on the south side of the building at 11 a.m. When he returned, both the bike and cable lock were gone, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.


A CatCard and $8 in cash were taken out of a wallet that was turned into the Integrated Learning Center, 1500 E. University Blvd., on Wednesday, reports stated.

A student realized he had lost the wallet and went to the information desk at the ILC. The wallet had been turned in, but the CatCard and money were not inside, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
