Hoops roundup: Men's hoops TV schedule announced

Thursday, October 23, 2003

With tickets to Arizona basketball games hard to come by, Wildcats fans can take solace in the fact that every game this season will be on television.

For more than 30 years, Wildcat basketball has been regularly featured on television, and 2003-04 will be no different, as all 27 regular-season games are slated for broadcast.

The schedule features 16 national appearances, with nine games offered on Fox Sports Net, three on ESPN and ESPN2, and two apiece on CBS and ABC.

Additionally, Fox Sports Net Arizona will produce 13 games to be shown exclusively in the Arizona market, including both exhibition games. Longtime Tucson sports personality Dave Sitton (play-by-play) and Arizona Athletic Hall of Famer Bob Elliott (color commentary) will call the action.
