A man was seen discharging a fire extinguisher at Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., Friday night, reports stated.

A residence assistant saw the man squeeze the handle of a fire extinguisher on the wall. Reports stated that, when the RA asked the man his name, the man said, "Dominic. Fuck you. Have a nice day."

Police were unable to find the man, but they plan to question the resident the man was visiting, reports stated.

Police arrested two men Saturday night after police noticed a bullet hole in the shattered rear window of their red Pontiac Grand Am, reports stated.

When police pulled over the Grand Am, the driver said he couldn't open his window. The officer asked him to open the door to speak, reports stated.

The officer asked if the driver had any weapons and the man said there was nothing in the car that the officer should "worry about." The officer then found a butterfly knife in the driver side door compartment, reports stated.

The driver said he used the knife to open the hood of his car, reports stated.

The officer did a background check on the driver and found that he had an outstanding domestic violence warrant through the Tucson Police Department, reports stated.

After searching the driver, the officer found a bag of what looked to be marijuana. The man was arrested for the outstanding warrant, possession of marijuana, misconduct with weapons and not wearing a seatbelt, reports stated.

The passenger in the car was also cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol after an officer smelled it on his breath.

The passenger, a minor, admitted to drinking alcohol earlier that night.

The officer called his mother and she told the officer to "take him to juvy."

The passenger was booked into Pima County Juvenile Hall, reports stated.

A student was arrested Saturday on minor in possession charges after an officer pulled over his car for racing on East Sixth Street, reports stated.

The officer found the car, a silver Acura TL, parked in front of Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall, 1418 E. Fourth St. As the officer spoke to the driver, he noticed that his breath smelled of alcohol, reports stated.

The driver admitted that he had been drinking earlier in the night, but said he was not racing on Sixth.

He was cited and released, reports stated.

A student called police after two men refused to leave the lobby of Sky View Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St., Saturday night, reports stated.

The student said the two men were carrying beers at the residence hall at 12:44 p.m. and had been asked to leave multiple times.

When police arrived, they found the two men, and one of the men was drinking a beer, reports stated.

After doing background checks on both men, police found that both had outstanding warrants. One of the men was arrested and eventually booked into Pima County Jail for failing to appear in court for a previous incident, reports stated.

The other man was found to have outstanding warrants through the Department of Public Safety and the Globe, Ariz., police department.

Neither would extradite the man.

He was arrested for drinking in public, reports stated.

A man who sped past a police car Saturday night was arrested for extreme DUI and speeding, reports stated.

The car was driving south on North Euclid Avenue when it passed an officer going the other direction. The officer did a quick U-turn and followed the car to East Sixth Street and North Cherry Avenue, reports stated.

The car turned right on Cherry and nearly hit the curb.

When the officer spoke to the driver, he smelled alcohol on his breath. When he asked the man to step out of the car, the man used the door for support before staggering to the curb, reports stated.

The officer tried to do field sobriety tests, but the officer stopped because the man was too unstable, reports stated.

When police did a breathalyzer on the man, he blew a .278.

He was charged and sent home in a taxi, reports stated.

A student was arrested on minor in possession charges after a resident assistant threw him and his friend out because they were carrying beer and a beer bong Saturday, reports stated.

The student told police that the RA from Arizona-Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., was drunk and he had kicked him out, reports stated.

Police questioned the RA and found that he had not been drinking and had kicked the students out of the building after he saw them carrying eight beers and the beer bong, reports stated.

The RA had the students pour out the beer in a sink.

He then used a knife to cut up the plastic beer bong, reports stated.
