Sophomore watches 'Daily Show,' goes by his last name instead of first as its easier to remember

Wildcat: My name's Nathan, I like vacuum attachments and you're On the Spot ... what did you say?

Ham: My name?

Wildcat: Whatever ... [pause] What?

Ham: My name is Ham.

Wildcat: "Hem?"

Ham: Yeah.

Wildcat: As in "hem" your garments? Like the bottom of my ÷

Ham: H-A-M.

Wildcat: Yeah. It sounds like sewing. I'm kind of cheap, and I shop at cheap stores and I buy pants that are too long, but my mom hems them up for me. That's your name, right? That's cool.

Ham: It's my last name, though.

Wildcat: So I asked you for your name and you gave me your last name?

Ham: Yeah. My first name is Chulssang, but it's kind of hard for people to pronounce my first name, so I just go by my last name Îcause I used to play baseball in high school and, you know, we have our last names on our jerseys.

Wildcat: So who are you waiting for? They sure are taking a long time.

Ham: I'm in Alpha Kappa Psi, a business fraternity -

Wildcat: Oh! Did you guys dress up last week and like, go get cans from people?

Ham: Yep ... yep.

Wildcat: I talked to a guy in a bull suit.

Ham: Mark? It's got to be Mark.

Wildcat: It probably was.

Ham: He's a huge Chicago fan. Cubs · Bulls.

Wildcat: No, no. He was in a bull costume. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Ham: I wasn't there.

Wildcat: Oh.

Ham: I was supposed to go, but I didn't go.

Wildcat: Oh. So, I just talked to a model. Isn't that cool? I just interviewed a model and she's going to New Mexico to strut her stuff.

Ham: She's a student here?

Wildcat: Yeah.

Ham: Well, we have a lot of hot students here.

Wildcat: Do you think so? I was watching · what was it? · "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." Some dude in California ÷ did you watch it? You're nodding.

Ham: I watch it often, but I don't ÷

Wildcat: Some guy wrote in the paper, something like, that none of the girls there were hot. And he started some mean ol' protest and people were banning him, signs everywhere and stuff.

Ham: That guy is funny. Jon Stewart.
