Last night the Eller Pre-Professional Student Association held a "CEO fashion show" to teach students how to dress properly for the workplace, featuring clothes from Macy's.

The show, which was created in part by business management sophomore Jenny Huynh, said the money raised from the $1 admission fee will be donated to victims of the tsunami in Southeast Asia.

Huynh said that she came up with the idea to benefit not only tsunami victims, but to entertain the community as well. [Read article]

photo Q & A: Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano

Members of the Arizona Daily Wildcat opinions board and news and opinions desk had the opportunity to sit down with Gov. Janet Napolitano yesterday in the Wildcat newsroom. In addition, AFAT is being attached to other pieces of legislation that students don't support. Knowing this, would you support or veto a budget that did not include a significant increase in financial aid? [Read article]

Commentary: Turning a real-life horror story into a better life

It was mid-afternoon and I just came inside the house where my cousin was living. He called me over to his room, but once I was in, he closed the door behind him.

I was only 8 years old and didn't know what was happening or what he was doing. I hadn't been though any sex education and I hadn't reached puberty yet.

What he was doing was strange, but I thought, "This is my cousin, he couldn't do anything wrong to me." But when I discovered what he was doing, I was horrified. [Read article]
