An unknown person stole six signs from the north lot of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity house, 1510 N. Vine Ave., sometime April 7 or 8, reports stated.

A student told police he left six no parking signs in the back lot at noon April 7, reports stated.

He said at 10 a.m. April 8, he noticed the signs were missing, reports stated.

The student told police he thought the signs were stolen by university employees because of past problems they had with them parking in this area, reports stated.

Police spoke with a couple of employees who told police the signs were missing when they arrived at work that morning, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

An unknown person damaged the Gould-Simpson building, 1040 E. Fourth St., sometime Saturday or Sunday, reports stated.

An employee reported the damage but did not wish further contact with the University of Arizona Police Department, reports stated.

Police went to the scene and found a broken window, reports stated.

The window was broken with an unknown object, and there was no other damage to the building, reports stated.

Police found no evidence, reports stated.

Facilities Management was advised of the damage and will repair the window, reports stated.

Police found no investigative leads, suspects or witnesses.

A woman's car was damaged Sunday afternoon by an unknown person while parked in a lot at East First Street and North Martin Avenue, reports stated.

A man witnessed the criminal damage to the woman's vehicle, and told police he saw a heavy-set man break the driver's-side window to a car parked in the lot, reports stated.

He said he did not see what the man used to break the window but heard the breaking sound and then saw the man look at him, reports stated.

The man said he surprised the other man attempting to commit a criminal act, reports stated.

He said the man then got into a car with Sonora, Mexico, license plates, reports stated.

Police searched the area for the vehicle and looked around the victim's vehicle, but did not find any investigative leads, reports stated.

The driver's-side window was completely shattered, reports stated.

It appeared the incident was completely interrupted and nothing was stolen, and police later verified this with the owner of the car, reports stated.

She told police she does not suspect anyone in particular, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or other witnesses.

A student reported an unknown person entered his unlocked room in Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., and dumped a white powdery substance in the room sometime Sunday afternoon, reports stated.

Police spoke with the resident assistant who took police to the student's room on the fifth floor, reports stated.

The student told police he left his room unlocked at 1:20 p.m. and went to a study room on the floor, reports stated.

The student said when he returned at 2:50 p.m. he noticed his bed and floor were covered with a white powdery substance, similar to that found in linen stuffing, reports stated.

The student told police he thought several men who are pledging the same fraternity he is, are responsible for the damage, reports stated.

He said several of the men live on his floor, but he did not see anyone enter his room, reports stated.

Other than cleaning up the powder, police could not ascertain any other damage to the room, reports stated.

Police asked the student to re-contact them with any further information, reports stated.

Police have no other suspects or witnesses.

A student's bike was stolen from the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth St., sometime during the morning of April 8, reports stated.

The student told police she locked her bike with a cable lock through the front wheel and frame at the northwest corner of the Rec Center's bike racks, reports stated.

She said she locked her bike at 9:50 a.m. and returned to find her bike and the cable lock missing at 11 a.m., reports stated.

The student does not know the serial number to her bike and it is not registered with Parking and Transportation Services, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
