Punk Voter Rock Against Bush Tour - Marquee Theatre, 730 N. Mill Ave., Tempe. Punk rockers Anti-Flag and Midtown spread anti-Bush sentiment. No matter what politics you follow, this show will agitate you in some way. 7 p.m. $15. All ages

UA Visiting Composer Series - Music Building, Room 146. Christopher Theofanidis will be showcasing his compositions and give an accompanying lecture. 4:30 p.m. Free. All ages

The Mockingbirds - O'Malleys. 247 N. Fourth Ave. Mock, yeah. Ing, yeah. Bird, yeah. Mockingbird, everybody have you heard? This is Tucson's premiere '80s cover band. 10 p.m. Free. 21+

International Arts Society Film Festival - ILC 120. "Yao A Yao Yao Dao Waipo Qiao" (The Shanghai Triad). Award-wining Chinese gangster movie. 7:30 p.m. Free. All ages.

Big Ass Music Festival - From UA Main Gate through Fourth Avenue, over 70 local and independent bands will be playing on outdoor and indoor venues. Wristbands are $5 in advance, $7 day of the show. Age restrictions vary with venue

Monolog Cabin - Club Congress. 311 E. Congress St. The only play that gets asses in the seats by self-titling as "White Trash Poetry Night." There are only four more chances to see it in all its glory. 7 p.m. $3. 21+

18th Annual Great Tucson Beer Festival - Corbett Field. 3400 E. Camino Campestre. Do you need a reason to go? It's a BEER Festival. 6 p.m. $30 in advance, $35 at gate. 21+

Chango Malo - Club Congress. 311 E. Congress St. Local favorites will show you why they are favored by locals. Roma 29 and Batter the Drag are also performing. 9 p.m. $4. 21+

Tucson Pops Orchestra - DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center. Homero Ceron is performing on the marimba and steel drums. Sadly for him, he will be competing against STYX. Good luck, Homero. 7 p.m. Free. All ages

Magic Show! - Gaslight Theatre, 7010 E. Broadway . Bluegrass Band is opening for this magic show. Then you know it has to be good. 7 p.m. $12. All ages

Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra - Solar Culture Gallery, 31 E. Toole Ave. Anything that has "afrobeat" in the title has to be good. 8 p.m. $10. All ages

Mono and Fly Pan Am - Plush. 340 E. Sixth St. Cool names, cool music. Be there. Mono plays at 9:45 p.m. Fly Pan Am plays at 11 p.m. $8. 21+

Wednesday

Willie Nelson - Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave. Old Country Western dude singing Old Country Western songs. 7:30 p.m. $54. All ages
