A police officer lost her UAPD badge and identification card, CatCard, digital pager and Smith & Wesson .38 revolver Friday night while she was driving on Pinery Canyon Road in the Chiricahua Mountains and then found the items Sunday, reports stated.
The officer said she had been driving on Pinery Canyon Road when a bag containing the items fell off the top of her car.
The officer told police that she searched the area and talked to people, but was unable to find the missing items. The officer told local law enforcement about the missing items, and the gun was noted as missing.
On Sunday morning the officer found the bag with the missing items in it and the gun was taken off the missing list, reports stated.
Three students tried to steal a traffic cone Saturday afternoon from East Sixth Street and North Campbell Avenue, reports stated.
Police saw one of the students pick up the traffic cone and put it in their car.
Police told the students stealing the cone was illegal and gave them a warning. The cone was undamaged and put back in place, reports stated.
Someone driving a dark PT Cruiser drove across the grass and tiled entrance area of the Arizona State Museum, 1013 E. University Blvd., early Friday morning, reports stated.
When police arrived, a man told them he had seen the car drive up onto the grass around 4 a.m. The man said the car had continued driving on the grass.
Police found tire marks in front of the museum.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
A student's $500 ecstatic guitar and $250 electric guitar were stolen sometime between Friday and Saturday from the student's room in the Sigma Pi fraternity house, 1525 E. Drachman St., reports stated.
When police arrived, the student told them he had last seen the guitars around 10 p.m. Friday and noticed they were missing around 2 a.m. Saturday. The student said the guitars had been leaning up against his wall in plain view of the window. The student said the window had been unlocked.
It did not look like there had been any forced entry, reports stated.
It looked like someone had slid the window open and climbed inside.
The student said he didn't suspect anyone in particular and wasn't sure if it was a fraternity prank.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
A man sleeping outside of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority house, 1775 E. First St., was arrested for trespassing Sunday afternoon, reports stated.
When police arrived, the sorority's housemother said the sorority had had trouble in the past with homeless people sleeping and drinking on the property.
The man had been warned several times before for sleeping on campus.
The man was booked into the Pima County Jail, reports stated.
A pair of eyeglasses was found Sunday afternoon at the McKale center, 1721 E. Enke Dr., reports stated.
Police were unable to find the owner of the glasses.
The glasses were put into property for safekeeping.
A UA employee saw three males break a concrete trashcan holder Friday night in front of Steward Observatory, 933 N. Cherry Ave., reports stated.
When police arrived, the employee said he had been walking when he saw the three men knock over the trashcan holder.
The employee said he asked the three men if they were students. The employee said the three men said something he didn't hear and then said, "What are you going to do, arrest us?"
The trashcan holder was broken into four pieces and the trash from the trash bag was strewn on the sidewalk.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
A student was cited for underage drinking early Sunday morning in La Paz Residence Hall, 602 N. Highland, reports stated.
When police arrived, the student was on the floor. The student was semiconscious, reports stated.
Medics came and took the student to University Medical Center for possible alcohol poisoning.
Police tried to explain the citation to the student, but she was too intoxicated and didn't understand.
Police returned to UMC a few hours later, but the student was still very drunk, reports stated.
