James Turner will host a seminar on erotic figuration in art and literature from classical antiquity through the Renaissance at 11 a.m. in the Modern Languages building, Room 451.


Bernard Kippelen, of the UA Optical Sciences Center, will speak on "Organic Semiconductors and Their Applications" at 3 p.m. in the Physics and Atmospheric Sciences building, Room 224.


Frederic Gibou will speak on "A Level Set Approach for the Numerical Simulation of Dendritic Growth" at 4 p.m. in the Math building, Room 501.


The Architecture Lecture Series presents a talk by Carlos Zapata in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building, Room 202 at 4:40 p.m.
