Wallet stolen
A student reported his wallet was stolen from his pants while he was playing basketball Sunday, reports stated.
On Monday at around 10 a.m., the student told police he began playing basketball at the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth St., at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Before playing, the student put his pants on the floor. When he finished playing about 15 minutes later, he discovered his wallet was missing from his pants.
The student canceled all of his credit cards. There was $50 inside his wallet. There are no suspects, reports stated.
Bicycles stolen
A student reported her $700 bike was stolen from a campus sorority house, reports stated.
Police met with the student in the lobby of the University of Arizona Police Department. She told officers the bike was locked with a U-lock to the racks east of the Sigma Kappa Sorority House, 1125 N. Vine Ave., sometime on Nov. 26. She said she last saw the bike on Dec. 3.
The student told police she did not notice the bike was stolen right away because the bike's back tire was missing, and the bike was not being used.
The student said she has pictures of the bike, and would contact police with the brand name of the bicycle.
There are no suspects, reports stated.
Bicycles stolen
A student reported his $200 bike was stolen near a campus building Monday, report stated.
At about 5:30 p.m., the student told police that around 3 p.m., he locked his bike with a cable lock through the tires and frame, to the racks north of the Harvill building, 1103 E. Second St.
He returned to the racks two hours to find the bike and lock were missing. There are no suspects, reports stated.
Bike parts stolen
An employee reported the front tire and wheel were stolen from his bike near campus Monday, reports stated.
At about 2 p.m., the employee told officers he locked his bike at 7:20 a.m., to the racks northeast of the University Main Gate building, 888 N. Euclid Ave. The employee went to work in the building, and when he returned to the racks at 12:30 p.m. to go to lunch, he noticed his bike's front wheel and tire were missing.
No other damage was done to the bike.
There are no suspects, reports stated.
Thefts from motor vehicles
A student reported her car stereo was damaged and her jumper cables, road flares, and other emergency equipment were stolen from inside her car Sunday, reports stated.
The student told police that on Saturday at about 9:30 p.m., she parked her car at Skyview Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St. She returned to the car at about 2 p.m. on Sunday, and discovered her car had been broken into. The driver's side window had been broken, the car stereo and dash damaged, and her emergency roadside equipment stolen.
Police were unable to search for fingerprints because the student had already rummaged through her car.
There are no suspects or witnesses at this time, reports stated.
Thefts from motor vehicles
A man reported his black canvas soft top was stolen from his Jeep on Sunday, reports stated.
The man told police he parked his car in the parking lot at Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., on Saturday at about 7:30 a.m. He then went camping, and returned to the lot on Sunday at about 4:15 p.m., discovering that his Jeep's soft top had been stolen.
The man did not notice anything else missing from his Jeep. Police were unable to find any fingerprints on the Jeep. There are no suspects, reports stated
Thefts from motor vehicles
A man reported Sunday that someone stole his Linkin Park CD from his car stereo, reports stated.
On Sunday at about 5:40 p.m., police met the man by his car in the parking lot at 421 N. Cherry Ave.
The front and rear passenger windows had been broken, and a Linkin Park CD had been taken from inside his car stereo. There was black paint on the passenger door that the man told police was probably from a paint ball.
The man told officers the burglary and damage had been done sometime between Friday at 3 p.m. and Saturday at about 5 p.m.
The man told police he would like to press charges if the thief is caught. There are no suspects, reports stated.
